The Nome Technologies mark, and how to use it.
The mark
The mark is a hyperbolic paraboloid — a saddle surface drawn as a ruled
mesh. Every line in it is perfectly straight in three dimensions, yet the surface they describe
curves. Straight parts, curved whole.
The halftone is not applied on top: each cell carries a triangle sheared by that
cell’s own geometry, so the pattern dissolves toward the far edge because perspective
compresses the mesh, not because anything fades it. The whole mark is generated from six
parameters rather than drawn.

The mark is reproduced in the accent purple on dark, or in
solid black or white where a single color is required.
Using it
- Do not recolor the mark outside the values above, or apply gradients, shadows or outlines
- Do not stretch, rotate, crop or redraw it — the geometry is the mark
- Leave clear space around it of at least the height of one mesh cell
- Do not combine it with another mark, or use it to imply a partnership that does not exist
